SCHOOL DRESS CODE
It is great to see the children coming to school wearing the school?s dress code. It is a good reflection of how we feel about being a family at school and being proud to belong to it. Unfortunately, not everyone has their clothes marked with their names, and this could lead to problems - loosing new sweatshirts etc, especially when changing for PE and swimming. It can prove expensive but WE CAN HELP!! We can give details of inexpensive name tapes, either sew in tapes or easy-to-use iron-on tapes to help stop these mishaps. Please ask in the school office.
COATS - We are lucky with the weather at the moment?but it still can be very changeable! All the children need to bring a coat to school so they can enjoy fresh air and some exercise at break and lunchtimes even if it isn?t sunny!
PE KIT - can we also remind you that every child should have a PE kit, fully named, in school every day?ready to use! Blue/ black shorts & white T-shirt please. Kits should go home at weekends for washing and return on Mondays please!
FOOTWEAR? can we also press home how important it is to have the correct footwear for children at school. Every child should have sensible school shoes (either brown or black, no high heels or boots, or opened toe sandals) for wearing throughout the school day and a pair of trainers or plimsolls for use during sports / PE lessons only. Trainers of any sort must not be worn as school shoes.
We will be sending notes home reminding parents if PE kits / school shoes or sports shoes are absent.
