An Inconvenient Truth
You may have heard on the news that Al Gore has produced a video called An Inconvenient Truth which tells us we are moving towards Global Climate Meltdown at an unprecedented rate. There are a lot of errors in this film but it is still going to be presented to children despite a parent taking this to court and a high court judge finding 9 errors in it. Already there are concerns for how much information is being given to children as they are worrying and scared about the future. This scare mongering film will only add to these worries. Whatever your views on climate change it must be said that only one side of the story is being presented to us - that of the IPCC. So much so that many people believe it to be absolute but when you look at the scientific facts you see a different story. Many scientists believe that our production of CO2 has nothing to do with climate change and the most likely cause is the sun as other planets in the solar system are warming up too. We are currently coming slowly out of an ice age. In geological terms this is a natural process and nothing to be alarmed about, indeed we could start cooling again at any time.
