Curriculum.

To maintain high expectations in learning and teaching.
To enable our children to achieve their best through the continued development of Assessment for Learning.
Monitor progress closely to enable more personalised learning.
Target the development of Shape and Measure.
Target the development of punctuation and sentence structure across the school.
Continue to develop spelling strategies.
Target Writing development.
Art and Design.
To develop further the use of cross curricula projects to bring learning alive.
Ensure that progress in science is maintained.
Revalidate to Healthy school status.

Pupils

To motivate pupils, maintain high standards and expectations of behaviour and develop care of the school environment through the use of positive rewards, personal responsibility and role modelling.
Know and work towards personal targets
To continue promoting healthy life styles through :- Healthy Schools Standards, School Fruit and Veg., healthy tuck and school meals, walking to school and high quality P.E. Revalidate to healthy school scheme

Staff

Develop the capacity of the school through planned Continuing Professional Develop.
Revalidate to Investors in People

Leadership and Management

To develop the capacity of the school through effective monitoring and evaluation of teaching, learning and ethos.
Develop distributed leadership throughout the school workforce.(set dates for leadership roles)
Develop CPD through Performance Management for all staff

Continue to develop effective forms of communication through the use of technologies, traditional letters and school newsletter, parent meetings and Parent Partnership.
Ensure there are effective Homework systems in place.eg the use of set books for work not sheets
To increase parental involvement in teaching and learning through use of workshops and other educational opportunities; such as Family Literacy and Numeracy.
Develop an extended school prospectus.
Further promote a positive attitude to the school and community through the media, sport and arts.
